Peptides in Clinical Practice: A Physician Panel and Open Forum
With Dr. Elizabeth Yurth and Dr. Abid Husain of Boulder Longevity Institute
For licensed clinicians · $195
Thrive for Longevity and OneLife Health & Performance
Evidence first. Peer to peer. Built for the clinicians in the room.
Your patients are asking about GLP-1s and other peptides, often before you bring them up. The evidence is moving fast, the marketing is moving faster, and most of us haven't had time to step back and sort out what is proven, what is promising, and what is still unknown.
This clinician-only panel brings together two physicians who have been working with peptide therapies for years: regenerative medicine physician Dr. Elizabeth Yurth and cardiologist Dr. Abid Husain, both of Boulder Longevity Institute. Dr. Ken Winnard of OneLife Health & Performance in Palm Beach Gardens hosts and moderates.
This isn't a lecture series. It's a moderated panel and open forum built around your questions. Whether you're new to peptides or already prescribing, bring the questions and cases you're working through, and leave with practical guidance you can use in clinic.
From regulation to the cases in your clinic
- Regulation, sourcing and quality what clinicians need to know about compounding and where peptides come from
- Legal considerations prescribing and dispensing peptides
- GLP-1s and retatrutide the evidence, what's still pending and the practical issues coming up in clinic
- Emerging research including peptides in cardiovascular health
- Gut health peptides and the gut
- Sexual health peptides and sexual health, including libido
- Troubleshooting why a peptide protocol may not be working as expected, and what to do next
Plus: plenty of time for open Q&A and case discussion.

Dr. Elizabeth Yurth
Co-founder & Chief Medical Officer, Boulder Longevity Institute
About
Dr. Elizabeth Yurth is a double board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, and one of the earliest physicians in the United States to bring peptide therapeutics into responsible clinical practice. Fellowship-trained in spine and sports medicine at a Stanford-affiliated group, she served as a team physician for Stanford and Santa Clara University and consulted for the San Francisco 49ers before turning her focus to the cellular science of aging.
For twenty years she has led Boulder Longevity Institute, which she co-founded as one of the first full-spectrum longevity clinics in the world, integrating hormone optimization, peptide therapy, regenerative orthopedics, and cellular medicine. Her work centers on a pathway-first model that targets the cellular machinery of aging, from mitochondrial function to autophagy and inflammatory signaling. She has played a foundational role in developing the clinical frameworks, dosing strategies, and safety protocols many practitioners now rely on, and through her Human Optimization Academy she has trained clinicians worldwide in peptide and hormone therapeutics. She holds faculty appointments with IPS, Longevity Docs, and nuBioAge.
In 2026 she was invited to present testimony before the FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee on the therapeutic use of compounded peptides, drawing on three decades of clinical experience to translate emerging science into protocols clinicians can use safely.
